Main project features: Overview spatial transformation of Viet Nam, the size and the function of cities in systems of cities framework, and its linkage to urban productivity and the growth of local economy. This will lead to suggestion on policy options and infrastructure investment prioritizations in order for Viet Nam to facilitate urbanization and economic growth in next 30 years without causing “Middle income trap”
Activities performed :
• Collect data and consolidate data mainly on Urbanization – The Economic Shift, Urbanization – The Demographic Shift and Urban poverty concentration
• Prepare maps and presentation with GIS
• Draft and complete parts of the final report
